Please read these Terms of Service before purchasing or using DUCKTECH products and services. They describe the rules for purchases, product licenses, refunds, transfers, commissions, and permitted use.

Introduction

Before purchasing DUCKTECH products or services, customers are required to read and accept these Terms of Service. By purchasing Gamepasses or products, you accept these Terms of Service and the applicable purchase contract.

Payment and Third-Party Procedures

  • By purchasing a product, customers automatically agree to these Terms of Service and the purchase contract. Customers are responsible for reading and understanding the Terms before purchasing. DUCKTECH is available to answer questions, but is not liable where a customer has not read the Terms.
  • Payments are made through Stripe. DUCKTECH will help with payment issues where possible; if it cannot resolve an issue, the customer may be referred to Stripe Customer Service.
  • DuckTech SecurePay: refunds are provided if a product has not arrived or a pre-order has been cancelled, subject to the applicable refund regulations.
  • DUCKTECH uses Payhip to offer products priced in EUR.
  • EUR purchases do not use a currency conversion rate. EUR prices are set independently; Robux and EUR prices are not linked.

License and Product Ownership

  • Purchasing a product grants a license to use that digital product; it does not itself transfer ownership. Scripted products require a valid license to work. A license may be revoked for violations of these Terms or the License Agreement.
  • A purchased license may only be used by the purchaser or in groups they own. The product may not be provided to another user or group for use in their group, project, or game.
  • Where a product is eligible for transfer, a customer may transfer it to another game. Some products may not be transferable due to whitelist restrictions.
  • A license may be revoked and an account blacklisted if a rule violation and leaked usage are found.
  • Customers may not claim purchased products as their own work. Products may be customized, but the original work must not be claimed as the customer's own.
  • Customers may not extract parts to sell modified products without permission and a resale license. Redistribution is not allowed without a resale license or permission.
  • Free products may not be sold, republished, or redistributed. Publishing the group name does not change this restriction. Customers may recommend DUCKTECH free products, but may not redistribute them.

Refund and License Transfer Policy

Product refunds

  • Purchases are final. Refunds are not granted simply because a customer dislikes a product, bought it unintentionally, or disagrees with the Terms.
  • A refund may be granted if a product does not arrive or does not meet the quality represented by its images and description.
  • If a product does not work after Support has been contacted, a refund will be provided if the product also does not work for other users, the technical team finds no issue to resolve, and no product fix will be made.

License transfers

  • Only licenses for scripted products may be transferred. Assets—Roblox models that are not scripted, or are only partially scripted and do not meet the definition of a scripted product—cannot be transferred.
  • Transfers require a valid reason and are subject to approval by the person handling the request.
  • Customers may make one transfer every seven days. This limit does not apply when a group is sold and the seller owns more than one DUCKTECH product.
  • If a customer sells a group containing DUCKTECH products, the seller is responsible for ensuring all required license transfers are completed before the new owner accesses or uses the products, including when the Vault whitelist is triggered. Failure to do so may result in action under the License Agreement.

Service refunds are described in the Service and Commission Policy below.

License Agreement

  • When purchasing a license, the user agrees to these Terms of Service and the License Agreement.
  • The user acknowledges that a license may be removed.
  • The product may not be distributed to another individual.
  • Leaking any part or all of a licensed product will result in license removal and blacklisting.
  • Use of a product without purchase or a valid license may result in enforcement action and blacklisting of the unlicensed user.
  • A revoked license is immediately invalid and cannot be transferred, reassigned, or reinstated unless DUCKTECH explicitly authorizes it.

Service and Commission Policy

  • For a commission, the customer purchases a license to use the commissioned digital graphic or service product. That license may be revoked where necessary. The commission may only be used for one group, project, or game, even if the customer owns multiple groups. Resale and redistribution are not allowed.
  • Liveries may be offered in DUCKTECH's pre-made livery category. A livery will not be sold if the customer objects. Custom liveries will not be sold. Customers should tell DUCKTECH if they do not want their livery sold. A different version or new livery may be sold, and it may be the same livery.
  • Payment must be completed before work on a service begins. Split 50/50 payments and buy-now-pay-later options are not accepted. The commission handler must receive proof of payment before proceeding.
  • A service refund may be issued if an authorized high-ranking staff member confirms that the commission does not meet DUCKTECH's Quality Standard, in which case the full price will be refunded, or if the commission handler cancels the commission. No refund will be provided where the customer is banned or blacklisted for a valid reason.

Other Terms

  • DUCKTECH will inform users of updates or changes to these Terms.
  • Limitation of liability: DUCKTECH states that it is not responsible for direct or indirect damages, losses, or issues resulting from use or inability to use its products or services.
  • Eligibility: by purchasing, you confirm that you are legally allowed to enter this agreement or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • DUCKTECH reserves the right to terminate access or licenses if these Terms are violated.
  • DUCKTECH may, at its discretion, grant exceptions in extraordinary circumstances. Approving or denying an exception does not create a precedent.
  • An exception in one case does not require DUCKTECH to grant the same or a similar exception in another case.

Definitions

License
A verification issued by DUCKTECH confirming a user's authorization to use a specific product. A license does not transfer ownership or intellectual property; it grants only the right to use the product in accordance with these Terms.

License Holder
A user who has lawfully obtained and currently holds a valid DUCKTECH product license.

Transfer
The reassignment of a valid product license from one License Holder to another, subject to DUCKTECH's approval and these Terms.

Access
Opening, launching, loading, testing, executing, possessing, or otherwise interacting with a DUCKTECH product through Roblox, Roblox Studio, direct file access, or another method. Access also includes joining or owning a game or group containing a DUCKTECH product without a valid license.

Revocation
The permanent or temporary removal of a DUCKTECH license due to a violation of these Terms or for another reason determined by DUCKTECH. A revoked license is no longer valid and cannot be transferred or used unless DUCKTECH reinstates it.

Unauthorized Use
Access, possession, execution, testing, modification, distribution, or use of a DUCKTECH product without a valid license.

Whitelist System

DUCKTECH protects its products using the whitelist system provided by Vault Roblox. When a server is started in Roblox Studio or Roblox, Vault checks whether the user owns the required license. If not, a warning is sent to DUCKTECH Management and action may be taken under these Terms.
